Good evening/morning everyone!

After two long years I finally started using my Instagram. One of the reasons was that many had recommend me to use this because it's a good way to show my artwork and work in progress. Instagram is for me a wonderful place to find inspiration too, so I also want to discover new artists and inspirational pieces. I know that so many of you create wonderful art, and it would be so fun to follow you guys there!

My Instagram is ApocalypticPorcelain

Wishing you all a great day! :)

Katze by ApocalypticPorcelain
Katze
A remake of my painting Katze from 2011. This is my original character Johannes, that was supposed to be featured in my novel Alptraum.

I do not support nazism or fascism. This is not supposed to going to illustrate any kind of ideological thoughts.

Made with watercolor and ink.

Katze: Before and After by ApocalypticPorcelain
Katze: Before and After
I was looking through the old paintings and I had totally forgotten about my OC Johannes. He was a character of my story Alptraum. Sadly he didn't appear because I change the storyline quite a bit, and I figured out the story was better as a novel.

I like Johannes and I don't want to just forget about him. A couple of days ago I started working on ideas for new illustration for a novel I'm going to write in the future. Johannes would be quite different in apperance, but still he would be the nice and kind hearted rebel.

I wanted to redraw this just to see how much my style has changed. It has changed quite a lot in a few years.

I do not support nazism or fascism. This is from a story that takes place during Germany during the war. There's a lot of symbolism in this pic even though it's minimalistic. The cat is for instance a symbol of independence and individualism.

Both paintings are made with the same technique: watercolor and ink .

A fan art of one of my favorite games The Evil Within. Fell in love with this game as soon as I started playing it.
Wanted to make a painting of Leslie Withers, but just had to add Ruvik to terrorize him.

Most of my art contains symbols of my life. Through the apocalyptic scene I reflect my opinions and feelings. I never been good with words, my art is my voice and this are the things I want to say.
I know much of my art is considered melancholic and dark, but that does not mean that´s my human nature. Much of the art is a product of dreams and my imagination.

By the way, some of the drawings contains themes from the WW2 era. I want to ratify that I am not a nazi sympathizer. I am into the single human being and what made them do those terrible things. The banality of evil.

Mah pleasure~

I can't say they're the same caliber of Strangled Red or the Lavender Town Syndrome, but I believe they're not bad either.

Hello there.

On one of your piece that I have faved, you wrote that if we had written a creepypasta to let you know. Is it still the case? If so, you might be interested by these:

I would not consider it as a specific art style. I usually combine elements from modern and older art. I'm a big fan of the romantic era, especially the symbolism. :)

I'm curious what is your art style? If you don't know how to describe it what artists inspired you?
